A logistics forum was held tomorrow, June 29, as part of the “Made in Pakistan” exhibition, which will be held in Tashkent on June 28-30. This forum is intended to create a platform for discussion and cooperation between key stakeholders, discussing logistics challenges and prospects in the region.

At the logistics forum, industry experts, politicians and business owners discussed strategies for expanding trade and relations between the two countries.

The forum serves as a platform for learning new directions and deepening cooperation in logistics and transport, which are considered important sectors that ensure economic and social development.

Discussions at this forum will pave the way for policies and practices that can significantly reduce transit times, reduce costs, and increase the overall efficiency of supply chains.

For information, Pakistan’s strategic location connects South and Central Asia and the Near East and serves as the gateway to the Arabian Sea and major sea routes. Pakistan’s infrastructure investments, including highways, the ports of Gwadar and Karachi, and improved rail links, will increase the efficiency of transit trade.

The logistics sector is of great importance for the further strengthening of trade-transit relations between the two countries. To this end, the forum held today brought together public and private companies of Pakistan and Uzbekistan, as well as leading players in the field of logistics, as well as interested parties to explore new opportunities for increasing bilateral and transit trade.
